To slow don't get HKS ti, mostly SS and a waste of $. Get either kakimoto full ti, ARC full ti, JIC full ti, or Ganador full ti. Sickest exhausts around, period.
Twinturboteddy you're a ******* retard. If you think ti exhausts are lame and N1 duals are the **** then you don't know **** about exhausts. You're just jumping on the bandwagon of name brand products cause you don't know dick about anything else and you can't think for yourself. You probably have like 80 stickers on your car and have lighted valve stem caps. Go get some originality bitch.
Seriously though, N1 duals reign supreme???WTF

Full ti exhausts are fine. I am the biggest anti-name brand on stuff dood. I'm just tired of hearing about how the HKS CF Ti has a (titanium tip), and other lame marketing tidbits.
I've tried a lot of different things, mainly because i've owned 2 FD's.
So out of experience with racing beat duals, m2 cat-back's, HKS, and a'pexi n1 dual, i was most happy with the N1 Dual.
I'm no exhaust freak, there are a lot of other things to focus on.
I removed all my stickers already .

TTT, my bad. We actually have more in common than not. I don't like the hks ti or cf/ti either, and a lot of their marketing is to people who don't know better. Thought you were calling all ti exhausts lame. Too expensive sure, but lame, never.

The performace aspect of the HKS Racing Ti is the piping size not really that it is a Ti exhaust (muffler only). The reason why tuners use it in Japan is simple...It's big as hell and it is well made.
HKS does not market it to people who are idiots on purpose...notice how it is only for the high end cars. It is unfourtunate that lots of kids automatically think Ti is "so cool."
The HKS Ti is not for everyone....it is a track oriented exhaust and not recommended for street cars in the US. I'm a big HKS fan but I would never put that thing on my car...why....it's too friggin loud. I'm happy with 3" all the way out for a street car.

I have HKS Racing Ti. It's very well made, has a full Ti canister and weighs like 1/3 less than stock exhaust. The difference in canister weight is apparent when you pick both of them up. And it makes the FD sounds like a muscle car. Are you sure that Kakimoto etc. has full Ti exhaust ? They must've cost like 3-4 times as HKS since Ti is like 3-4 times as expensive as SS. I don't think it's worth the money. In HKS case, an MP and catback alone will cost $900 compare to HKS' $1100 so it's a pretty good deal IMO.

JIC Magic has both
One with just a Titanium can (same as HKS but $300 less)and another that is full titanium pipes also. I'm not sure if it comes with the mid pipe because of the Japanese to English translation problem.
The Kakimoto sounds sweet also, wish I could compare them. (just an expression, heaven't heard either)
I had my mind set on the N1 duals before I saw the JIC 1/2 Titanium. It is the only exaust that I know of that increases mid range power (perfect for autos)which is more practical for street.

Whoops, forgot the reason I replied...
It doesn't make any sense to me to have a 4" DP back exaust if the DP is 3"? Furthermore, why wouldn't they make a Titanium DP? ...is it impossible to bend? I would definately buy a Ti' DP! What's up the dat?

Come on guys why are you comparing 3" cat back systems to a DP back 4" system(it includes a 4" stainless midpipe).
Most of these price comparisons don't make sence either especially if it is a cat back system.
That's like comparing apples to oranges.

OK, where is the physics majors?
The JIC 1/2 Ti' is cat back @ about $850
has a Ti' can like HKS but no MP.
JIC Titanium is all Ti' even pipes but since I couldn't say "mid Pipe" in Japanese I don't know if it comes with one (about $1150).
I hope I don't get in trouble for posting those prices, they should be retail/sugested.
But my question still stands: Can you actually get a benefit of 4" MP + CB (regardless of Ti' cause that is a wieght isssue) when the DP is only 3"?
Oh, and what is Sardo? ...never heard of that one.

i think the reason you are getting a little confused is because you are thinking the flow of gas as water. liquid and gas flow are totally different things.
for example, if you have a 3" hose flared out to 4", that extra inch in water flow will not do anything since the minimum is 3"s. so...a three inch hose connected to a four inch hose flowing continuous water will not flow any better than a full three inch hose.
however, gas is a little different. any increase in pipe diameter will increase flow, regardless of what the bottleneck is. think of it this way...after the 3" downpipe, if it is 4 inches, the gas has more room to move around and flow. if it is full three inches, it is a little more cramped, hence more resistance/backpressure.
hope that made sense.

yeah that SARD sounds really sweet, restrictive at LOW RPMS, and open 4" wide at higher rpms(higer boost) so you keep low end power and get good high end....
gordan m. said KD ordered it from japan, AND its only $550, damn i am really interested in that exhaust system
