If your talking about the 4" full HKS titanium exhaust system, get ready for tickets. And if your talking about the HKS Carbonfiber titanium tip, its loud, but not nearly half as loud as the other one, so you could probably get by if you still got a cat and precat.

P.S. you an also do a seach on both as well, I know I had a thread on the Carbonfiber one, and someone else did one on the full 4" one.

Plus it looks sweet and is extremely strong and durable. Can't argue with the 4'' opening either .

definately too loud for street.....there's no way to run a cat with the 4in, it replaces the cat also. And I don't think the HKS ti is all ti, only the canister is, the piping is still stainless so it is not any lighter.

Kakimoto Racing GT1.0Z has a full Titanium version. Go with that. HKS one for our car is not all Ti. I think just the tip is Ti. I could be wrong.

What about the JIC bullet exhausts.. anyone know what they sound like in comparison to the HKS? From what Rishie said the JICs look very good. The sound would be another factor in my decision though, naturally.

you guys need to getaway from all these lame brain exhausts?

honestly, kakimoto? who gives a rats *** if it has a gold, or titanium tip.

N1 Dual reins king. practical, doesn't look absurdly big. very good flow.

Kakimoto GT 1.0Z is full Ti. It's all about weight reduction

since we are on the subject of 4 inch exhausts, do muffler shops usually have 4" inch piping ready to be made into a custom exhaust?

Nope. They usually carry pipping for the masses. Like ultraflow 1 inch lead piping for hondas.

i am not sure about 4" but they had 3" when i got my custom exhaust made for my integra. if i were you i would get the custom piping made for your car it. i saved about 100 on a catback when they finished it. 250 for my apex n1 muffler (black) and 100 for the piping. if you were to buy the n1 catback online its likw 450.

I would wait, I hear HKS and Trust are coming out with a Bronze and Copper exhaust, with 5" Straight through pipe, and the option to get Color LED's on the tips, its real hot right now in the Binghamton Import scene.

Pete from XS had the HKS Ti Racing on his car but took it off becaus it was setting off the stock knock sensor due to noise. Don't ask me why but Pete pulled it off and that is the reason he gave me......his car isn't a daily driven car so he normally wouldn't care about noise.

ALSO I will put money that he will beat Ari on their next meeting. He missed 3rd in the final run at IDRC against Ari.

Pete did lose to the skyline in the semi finals but the skylilne driver was a friend of mine and told me he kept upping the boost on that run since Pete beat him on the launch and '60. That's why the skyline blew out it's turbo. Even though it got the win the skyline was smoking like a FD with a bad oil seal.

There will be a new street class champion soon!
