Going to replace Air Intake Thermosensor

First the water thermosensor went bad, now the air intake thermosensor....how many thermosensors can go bad in one year??

Anyway, I'm gearing up to do this fix myself, which as a learning rotary guy will be my biggest task so far. I looked up the write-up from Rob Robinette's site on how to take off the UIM, but I'm still scared. Does anyone have a pic of the underside of the UIM so I can see exactly where this sensor is? Also, what should I look out for when taking the UIM off? I know that I need to plug the intake holes that are exposed with the UIM off, but should I do anything else? Also, when I have it off, what other things should I look for? Vacuum lines, etc? Thanks for any help you can offer. I really appreciate it.

The slow learner,
Tyler

Where is it under there you ask , no picture needed . It is the sensor threaded to the underside of the uim that has a blue connector. How easy is that ? Good skill is all you need .Turn up the radio and get your gf to hand you tools, then take her for a ride, Turn off the radio before you leave .

I just changed mine. It was easy, just make sure you re connect all the hoses and lines. It will suck if you put it back together and forget something.
