Going to Airborne Coatings soon, what to bring?
Jet Hot seems to be very reputable but Airborne Coatings is local so I can just go by there.
I'm going to receive my downpipe and midpipe Wednesday.
I am going to bring the downpipe to receive their Aluminum Ceramic Coating.
What other parts should I bring to get coated while I'm at it?
Is coating the midpipe necessary? Turbo manifold?
Upper intake manifold? Lower intake manifold? Efini Y-pipe? Intake pipes? Intercooler pipes? Greddy elbow?
Do certain parts need to be coated on the inside too?
I tried to search past topics but wasn't ultimately clear on these subjects.
Thanks,
Victor

try this link for some info....the way I look at it the more the better. In some parts people may argue it wont do anything but chances are it will do more then less. When i do it im doing it all!

they should be able to tell you which coating is appropriate for which application.
i spoke with jet hot yesterday about doing my intake manifolds and they said that they normally only do the exterior of intake manifolds as that is all that is necessary. they use a different lower temp coating for the intake manifolds that is good to 1300 degrees. jet hot uses something that is good to 2400 degrees on the exhaust side.
just make sure the coatings you use are appropriate for the application and temperature levels.
