Glow Shift Pillar Gauge Mount?

Glow Shift Pillar Gauge Mount?
Has anyone used the Glow Shift pillar mount?
If so, did you keep the stock pillar mount and go over it or remove the stock pillar and use the Glow Shift as the actual pillar?
Looks like it could be done either way, just curious about anyone's experience.
Thanks!

Just as long as you didn't invest in the Glow Shift gauges as well . I'm surprised they put the "F" in the name .
Some gauge pods are designed to replace the whole A-pillar, but I doubt most of them will connect to the car as well as OEM. In that case, putting the pod on the existing A-pillar plastic makes the most sense. Drilling into the car to mount a cheap gauge pod, or using double-sided tape that will stay up a week doesn't make sense, either.
Also, I'm not a fan of the 3-gauge pillar pods - the 3rd pod blocks your field of vision. Speaker mount pods are the way go go in general, IMHO.
