Ghost in my car.....

Ghost in my car.....
So I'm tooling along on a nice sunny day and my car was suddenly possessed by a demon.
The horns start honking, the hazard lights turn on, the headlights pods pop up and the headlights turn on. The car otherwise seems to run fine.
I drive home getting lots of weird looks and I disconnect the battery to go grab my service manual and and some tools. As soon as I hook the battery back up everything starts working fine.
I can't diagnosis an electrical problem that's not there. Anyone have this happen to them before? On a search I've heard about the alarm going off but that would not turn on the headlights... would it? Ugh!!
Thanks!

yes when the factory alarm goes off the car honks and the lights go up and down. Its actually quite the show but you already know that as you had front row seat to the extended version

I did a search on "alarm & alarm bypass" and came up with nothing. Anyone know of a link that might have some useful information? If not I'm sure I can figure it out.

Not yet. I did some searching on this site to see how others have repaired it but my seaching came up with nothing. I'm not really sure what keywords to use. I search alarm and I get so much information I'm overwhelmed with info.
I decided to wait for the alarm to go off again and then I can track it down with my shop manual wiring book.
I'll get it. I'm not worried. I have pleanty of extra cars to drive while I tinker with it.
