i find it hard to believe that there is no info on this. this question has been asked a million times. dont count on this going into the archives. if someone wants to get an idea of how much insurance will be... they can call the insurance company and get an actual quote.
everyone's situation/age/location/driving record/maritail status/insurance requirements due to having a loan maybe.... is different.

If you dont like it dont read it. Try 'searching' first before you open your mouth, because theres almost no info. It may have been asked but this a good way to compile info.

Go ahead and look through all the threads with FD insurance premiums that you can find and you will see very little info.
This thread is not a threat to this forum - its helpful, so you guys need to chill out.
*Now back to the subject...

$80 or so sounds right. 25 years old +, married, clean record. $100 deductible. Full coverage. State Farm. Multi car and multi line discounts as well as no accident and defensive driving discounts. < 7500 miles/year, no drivers under 25 on policy...

Stick with State Farm, they treated me VERY well after my car was stolen. I was only paying the premium for the book value of the car, but since I had all my old receipts and photos documenting the condition of the car and the upgrades I had made they paid out a higher amount. They had a person appraise the value of the car after the modifications and based the claim off of that, not just the book value of the car. There was no bickering or arguments by the adjuster. He simply found out how much the car appraised for and cut me a check. No questions asked. They have my business for life. At the time I believe I was paying $120/month w/ $100 deductible. I have noticed that where you live is one of the biggest factors in how much you pay per month.

This question has been asked many times.

It doesn't matter what someone else pays. Gathering info on what other people pay is pointless/useless. What could possibly accomplished by searching for insurance information on this site. It's a waste of time.

Get on the phone and make a few calls to insurance agents/brokers in your area. That's the only way to find out what insurance costs.

And, if you live in my area, call me. I'm an insurance broker.

Adam

Clean record now except for suspended license 2 1/2 years ago for 6 speeding tickets in one year. $220/mo for a Del Sol and an FD. By December my supsension will be off my main record and my rates will drop to $120/mo. for the same cars. Every penny saved, is a mod earned. Then i'll have to wait a few more years till I hit 25 then i'll really be saving them bucks.

I'm 20, clean record, live in South Texas and I was quoted $110/month for a 92 240SX and a 93 RX-7. It it setup so the 7 is classified as my weekend driver and the 240 my daily.

Your insurance poll is going to vary widely. Reason being is there are a lot of factors involved. You stated some of the more basic factors, but you are forgetting some other ones, which could throw a wrench into your data.

1) Is a policy solely for that person OR is that person "riding" on say...their parents' policy?
2) Is there more than one driver on the policy?
3) WHEN was the current policy issued and when was it first issued?
4) What is the total "mileage" for a driver per year?
5) Is there more than one vehicle on the policy?
6) Any discounts given (non smoking, took a defensive driving course, 25+, good driver discount, student/good grades discount, etc.)

Also, rates vary greatly from state to state, city to city.

Good luck compiling this information.

yea, the best way to gather info is to go to one of those online sites and just enter in different ages, driving records, etc. and see what it spits out.
