garage door frequency and the car alarm?
So this past week mdpalmer and I have had a puzzling problem. To set the scene, we both park our 93 models in the garage, me on the left...him on the right.
Last Monday evening his car alarm went off while we were watching television. The next night same thing happened. The next evening Mike disabled his alarm figuring it had to do with old circuitry.
Now this past weekend, we swapped the car spots. So now mine is parked where his was. Sunday morning while he was removing one of my shock towers (he's borrowing it for his car), my alarm went off. Just this morning when I returned from walking my dogs, the alarm went off again.
The only time in any of this did the alarm go off because of movement would be when Mike was removing the tower. All the other times the car was in the garage alone.
I figure it might have to do with a garage door frequency that is somehow affecting that side of the garage? Anyone had this issue?
I am curious and am going to try one of our other cars in the spot next weekend.
