my girl got me one for x-mas. you can get them at Walmart, target, toys'r'us. it is bad. it is so detailed I found myself giggling at it when I was checking it out for the first time. you can change the rims and hood. comes with two sets. you guys will trip when you see how they made it so detailed. even has a play station in the passenger seat. I was like that is what I want my car to like. dude one the baddest toys out. plus there are like three different combo's of colors on the FD toy. the one you see and I think I saw a blue one and one other color. you guys have to get one.

Oh, I just noticed the corner of the stock car. How observant am I?

I should stop by my Mazda Dealer today and see if they have any.

If you're interested in RX-7 die cast cars, try this site...

http://search.store.yahoo.com/cgi-bi...ore&query=rx-7

Jada Toys makes the car shown above, and they have 1/64th, 1/24th, and 1/18th scale versions. the 1/24th and 1/18th scale versions come with 2 sets of wheels, and usually painted and "carbon fiber" hoods that you can switch.

1/18 - http://www.jadatoys.com/importracer118_2.html

1/24 - http://www.jadatoys.com/importracer124.html

Ha Ha, I was at a gas station a while ago and saw a die cast FD very similar to that one. I was looking at it and noticed it had 2 intercoolers. Looking at the front bumper you could see a big FMIC, but when you opened the hood there was a SMIC. I just had to laugh...

ditto. I have a couple of these models and noticed the exact same thing. Oh yeah and what supposedly are the front openings of the 1:18 are blocked by plastic sheets. The Hot Works models are way better.

Here you go...these are newly released RX-7 model/toys (look towards the middle in the blue boxes). These are from Hotworks of Japan and are supposed to be very detailed. Just came out. The best part is that they come in 4 colors in '99 JSpec parts PLUS comes with aftermarket bodykit, rims, seats (!), etc. One is the awesome Apexi version and other 3 are blue, black, and silver with no stickers/graphics...just clean. They're not the same company that makes the other 99 JSpec ones. I plan to get the set soon. Check it out:

No prob. Hmm...I'm sure they will have red soon or the next wave (series) release. You should inquire with them about it. But man, you have Kyosho? That is so nice...they're huge too I heard. I know they make a silver, red, and CYM of the Kyosho's.

I will check around online for red one.

Anyone know where can i get the FD as a RC car like the Xmod RC cars at Radio Shack. I'm not talking about those small ones but like the size 1:24 or so. I think I saw somewhere on tv that they had the Apex'i White FD as a drift car.

Thanks

Amel

I have that red diecast behind the 2 ricey ones

Cool detail and models, but they do look a bit too ricey for me. They all have huge rims, body kits and all that fast and furious graphics.. kind of lame to me..

Cool. I just ordered me a set actually. Are they as detailed as the toy dealers say...maybe not Kyosho standards but good? Hopefully they release more of the factory colors.
