Question Fuel system & motor mod plans, please read and comment ( I did search)

I am doing a complete rebuild on my 93 rx7 this winter. Here is what I am installing. I have done much research and just what some seconds opinions on my setup.

1. Pinapple medium-large street port
2. PFC
3. M2 carbon fiber intake
4. M2 med or large SMIC
5. Keeping stock non-seq turbos
6. Full exhaust
7. All block off plates
8. Pulley’s

Fuel system plans
1. Walbro 255 pump
2. Four 850cc injectors
3. Aeromotive FPR
4. Braided lines

Questions:
1. Will the four 850’s provide enough fuel to support these mods. I calculated it on Wade’s site and it should less than 85% duty cycle.
2. Do I need the stock fuel pulsation dampener, or does the aeromotive have one built in. (I know the rx-7.com FPR does)
3. Will the Walbro provide enough fuel? I can run the stock pump as auxiliary, but would really like to avoid doing that at the moment. I figure if this is enough for this setup, if I ever go single I can just run dual walbro’s.
4. Will I need any ignition upgrade?
5. Is there anything I am forgetting?

I am hoping to reach 320-340 RWHP. The main use of the car is track days, high speed autocross and the occasional drag strip to test my skills there. I am trying to do this right the first time without spending TONS of money.

Any suggestion, opinions or tips welcome.

Sure....but that also depends how much you wanna crank up the boost.
I'm seen people dyno around 340rwhp on the stock injectors, upgraded pump, and well within the safetymargin of A/F. Generally, the stock injectors will get you up to between 13-14psi or so.

This has been a neverending debate....
Do we REALLY need one? Most people tend to ditch it when they redo their fuel system, and no one seems to have any adverse effects because of doing so

For now, you should be just fine.
Walbro's have been known to be good for 500rwhp or so.

Naa. But it will help.

Make sure all the injectors are cleaned out. Don't just get 2 850s or get your 550s bored out. Send the other 850s to be cleaned, and get them all blanced & blueprinted (which is usually part of the deal)

Replace your fuel filter

And since everything is out, you will also get some more flow if you get the both intake manifolds polished inside. Hells slap on a lightweight flywheel and a new clucth while you are at it, too.

1. Yes, but enlarging the secondaries to 1200-1300cc would probably be much easier to tune for.

2. The Aeromotive will replace the dampener as well, but you really don't need to touch the FPR, the stock one is fine.

3. I don't trust the Walbro. The pump is actually smaller than stock and I've heard of many problems with them. The Denso pump is OEM quality and has a very high output if you upgrade the wiring to the fuel pump.

4. Wouldn't hurt!

5. Not fuel wise.

going to a 1200 or 1300 would also allow for more power later on if he wanted

The aeromotive FPR acts like a FPD.
I run dual walboro's now. I suggest running them at a constant 12 volts though...I think many people have had problems with theirs because they don't run them a high enough voltage.

How did you wire it up for a constant 12 volts? Do you know of a write up?

Do I need to upgrade the FPR or will the stock one suport my plans. I have done some research and it seems like I don't need to upgrade it. Any more input.
