Fuel Lubricant
Pettit Racing sent me a bottle of oil to add to the fuel. They say it will extend my engine life if I use it regularly. Of that I have no doubt.
However, do any of y'all have any experience using any other product (e.g. two-cycle oil) to acheive the same result which may be cheaper than 50 cents an ounce?

Premix
I have used Pennzoil 2 stroke with good results and its not expensive if you by it by the quart or
gallon. Just mix about 4 oz's with a full tank.
I have also heard that theres a jet ski oil that is the same oil as Pettits Protek-R only alot cheaper. I am sure someone on this forum would know the exact name if you prefer using synthetic.

I have been using the Protek-R from Pettit Racing for about one month and never had any problems with it. I purchased one gallon from them, which should last a pretty long time. I use the Protek-R at every other fill up, instead of every fill up of gas. Also, I talked to Dave from KD Rotary about using this product and he suggested using the Protek-R. He never said anything bad about this product and kept on saying how good it is.
