Fuel additives as preventative maintenance

When I got the car, the previous owner gave me some advice on preventative maintenance for the engine. He left 2 bottles in the car. One was STP Octane Performance Booster and the other was Penzoil TC-W3 2-cycle engine oil (marine grade, should this be synthetic?). He said to add some of each to the tank whenever I refuel. He also told me that Pettit Racing sells a fuel additive in a 2-3 ounce container that I sould try. What do you think?

DO NOT run octance booster garbage through your car! throw it away!
just use 93 when you fill up. As for a fuel system/injector cleaner the two most recommended are either BG44 or Chevron Techtron.
otherwise, jsut replace your fuel filter every 15K and you'll be fine.

The pre-mix, or 2-cycle oil can be synthetic or regular oil, as long as it is TC-W3 which means it has low or no ashing properties. I use the mazda fuel additive.

i have heard to run about 3-4 ounces of marvel mystery oil at every fill up. also, here in CALI we can only pump 91 octane. sure we have access to 100or is it 110 but that **** is pricey. i just use 91 with MMO. any other suggestions, i really wanted to know about this too. waht about extra MMO in the OIL???
