frustrating night

i was having a great day at the gun show, way good times. and then i was driving my truck home, got home and cleaned up and wanted to take the fd out for a spin. someone egged my car!!! fu*k sh*t bit*h asswh*le mother f*ckin ***** bit*h ****!!!= A BAD NIGHT!!! anyways the egg hit my drivers side mirror on the glass and shattered it. which is actually better because the egg sgell didnt chip the paint. so i need a driver';s side mirror. if anyone has one let me know. i can sure use it. maybe i can get a used one from a member otherwise im gonna get raped by mazda. thanks for letting me vent. lol

Damn dude, sorry to hear that. If it makes you feel any better, my buddy's 911 turbo (80s model) recently got egged in front of his house. It had pretty much perfect silver paint too. No worries, those aresholes who did it will burn in hell

I'd have to agree there, I guess it must be jealousy or something. Some idiot keyed the driver's side door of my FD while it was parked for less than half an hour in a local shopping center earlier this year. Society is in a sad state of affairs when people feel they have to trash other's property because they're jealous.

Hmmm. An FD in Pasadena? I lived there for two years and never saw one!! My buddy's 911 was parked in front of one of those mansions just south of Caltech when it was assulted. Yeah, people are a bunch of haters I suppose.

Sorry to hear about your car, SilverTRD........that sucks. And yeah, as others have pointed out, it must be some sort of jealousy thing. I won't hardly drive my FD to a destination where I have to park it for any time at a public lot, I mainly just take it out for quick spins to get that rush only it can provide.
I've gotten too many door dings and other damage from people who just don't care, obviously. I remember once my son and I were going to the mall, we had just got out of the car and walked about 20 yards towards the entrance when I hear this, "This car ******* SUCKS!!!!" yelled behind me, and there were two guys standing by MY car! At first I thought it was someone I knew just ******* with me, but I quickly realized I didn't know them at all.
They were a couple of punk-*** kids acting all bad-*** or something. So I told my son to wait a second and went walking back towards the guys, and I asked, "So....which one of you has a problem with my car?" and the taller of the two (all 5'8" of him) started stammering, "Oh hey...this is YOUR car, huh? Aw man....no hate, no hate....this is a cool car...." so I just looked at them for a few seconds and shook my head and walked back to my son, and they took off caddy-corner across the parking lot. But I got to thinking about it so we turned back around and got back in the car and drove it to the other side of the mall, because I could just see the little ***-wipes doing something to it! Grrrrrrrrrrr!

It is a pity we have to pay this price for owning a car like this. It isn't enough that the things cost us a small fortune to keep running...no, we have to periodically take them to the body shop too!

My FD isn't my DD, and I don't exactly go cruising the streets of Pasadena, especially with all the police around here, and all the other idiots racing around getting them riled up. FDs aren't exactly abundant anywhere, but I've seen two others, plus briefly meeting forum member Aristo when he lived here attending CalTech.

That story reminds me of something that happend a few weeks ago. I was just getting out of school waiting in line to get out of the parking lot, I had my roof open and the windows down and was waiting in the left turn lane. Well a truck pulls up next to me that I could probably drive under, gauges going up the pillar, chrome, etc... and I hear the kid in the passenger seat say "Dude, TELL THAT KID HIS CAR IS SLOW HAHHAHA" and sure enough the kid shouts down to me "IS THAT CAR SLOW? IT LOOKS LIKE A SLOW CAR" I just yelled back, "Do you know what kind of car this is?" He looked at his friend who shrugged then the pulled foward to avoid me. (My car dosent say Rx-7 on it anywhere ) Alot of people dont know **** about these cars, and most that do are jealous of them....My car isnt garaged either and storys like these really get me pissed at people.

it just pisses me off because it was parked outside my house. there is not much i can do to protect it. besides a cover i think. and the car could still get dented through the cover. and its not like i live in a bad area either, it's actually a very good area. im not sure what im gonna do, but i have to figure something out!

you dont have a garage? you park in the streets? well you could try askign around for a drive way or empty garage to park in and maybe pay 60-70 a month? thats what my neighbors did with their BMW 750i.

Sorry to hear that TRD. If you are still looking for a drivers mirror I have one but it is not silver but VR. How's $75 shipped?

I can't imagine owning a nice car without having a garage.. seems to defeat the point.

hey man. go find their car and KEY it up! seriusly. give them a taste of their own medicine. key every single panel (and write a few curses too LOL!) so they would have to repaint the whole car haha. but then make sure you park your car in a garage after doing so. as i said before, try finding an empty garage from your neighbors so you can rent it and park your FD (60-70 dolalrs a month at most).
