Fresh air headlight cover

Hi,

Is anyone running the C-west or for that matter any of the vented headlight covers? Do they flow a decent amount of air? If you open the gap between frame and radiator as well as running the headlight scoop will it create a low pressure area and prevent air flow from coming accross the filters?

I am concerned that with a Pettit intake it will not be drawing enough cold air and that the headlight scoop might reduce intake temperatures and prolong engine life. Is this a good way to go?

Thanks,

Andrew Wojteczko

I ordered one last week. I have heard that they are on back order so I can't tell you how big the opening is but any way to get cooler air to the intake would be benificial. IMHO

i have seen this and although it does look good, i doubt it does anything except at really high speed! its not really a cold air intake.

From what I understand about fluid dynamics, that area of the nose is a low pressure area, and the likelihood of the headlight cover giving you ample fresh, cold air is questionable.
