Question Found the perfect wheel, stuck between 2 colors, vote?

Hey guise! Not looking to sell anymore since I wont be leaving for a bit longer..

I have a 93 red fd with the same crappy off brand wheels from when I bought it, the new wheels Ive decided on are the Cosmis racing xt-206r but I am stuck between the black chrome or the bronze. I like them both equally

here is a pic of my car plus the 2 different xt-206r's. Just looking for opinons! they will by 18x9 +33 in the front and 18x9.5 +10 rear

The only slight issue I have with black chrome is ive never really seen this color in person.

Thanks for the help deciding!

I honestly think the black chrome will be better. The bronze is too light for a red FD.
And you must be going wide bodied because that 18x9.5 +10 won't work in the rear with stock fenders.

I was looking in the wheel fitment thread, based on reading I thought as long as you have a positive offset 18x10 and anything smaller worked fine? Maybe a tiny bit of fender roll.

I can't say that I have exact experience with the 206r but I do have the Cosmis Racing MRII and I know the 18x9.5 +15 sticks out well past the stock fenders. I went with FEED front fenders and an aggressive rear roll/pull.

ok well without any body mods the next option for the 206r i could do would be 18x9 +33 on all 4 wheels. do you think that would sit pretty flush and nice?

18x9 +33 with a 255/35 at each corner will fit well but you'll need a fender roll in the front. In the rear you're fine with that size, if you roll you can get away with a 20mm spacer.

The 10" rear works with rolling fender and a +25ish, but not a +10. This is also with a 265/35 on the 10 in the rear, move to a 285 and you obviously have less room (probably 10ish mm less).

I appreciate the help! No color vote?? the black chrome is pulling away fast, my friends agree too.

I had a red FB with gold enkei wheels that looked really good. You should get the wheel color you like. It doesnt matter what others think. I like both colors.

It would be better to photo shop the car with both sets of wheels to make the choice.

I like the black chrome. I run 18x9.5, 35 offset all round with 245/30/R18 tires. No rubbing or scrubbing or issues.

Unfortunately the 9.5s are only available in a +10, as far as I can find at least, once you drop to a 9in wide they are +33, I wish they had more options

You might want to check the aspect ratio on your tires again, a 245/30 is a rubber hand

ok black chrome it is. Im gonna do the 18x9 +33 all around, I want a clean flush look while barely having to do any roll, none if at all possible. What tire would be best for that look? can I get away with some stretch on a 9 wide tire and still be flush with the body?

Would a 225/40 on 18x9 +33 fit well? I like the stretch look, but only just a little to see that lip, mostly concerned about clearance.

its funny cause when i first saw those wheels i really liked them as well, but something to watch out for is the design change in the wheel with the 33 offset, it no longer has a smooth concave offset, if that makes sense. the wheels spokes have a curve in them to make up for the higher offset. and the other offsets just arent functional in my opinion. but interested in seeing what they look like anyways!
i vote black chrome

I think the bronze wheels would match the car better. If you have a clean buttercup interior, the wheels will nearly match the interior color.
