Forward Engine hook for Pulling Engine / FD3S

Hi All,

I will be pulling the 13b out of the car over the weekend and I had noticed the previous owner never put back the forward eyelet for pulling the engine.

I have the back one that is bolted to the Intake Manifold, however not the one up front that sits to the right of the alternator.

Is there a part number for this? Does anyone have one they aren't using anymore?

Thanks for your looking. Attached pic for easy reference.

I know the rear one has been discontinued. . I wouldn't be surprised if this one has been discontinued as well. I buy my oem parts from Japanparts .. shoot them a message and see.

You can also pull the engine by threading the correct size bolt into the mounting points for that part, and just threading the chain link directly to the bolt.

Later model cars (96+ i think) had the engine removal hook and the alternator bracket integrated into a single bracket.

Exactly what I was going to say. I remove that arm thing just for a more tidy appearance then I put it in a safe place for when I need it. You know how safe places work for stuff.... anyway, pulled my motor this past weekend and I just ran the 1 bolt through the link on the chain and did the same for the uim. It held the weight of a complete motor and transmission without cause for concern. From this point forward I won't put the effort to find the hoist hook things if they're not installed or readily available.
