The Fortunate 350 [CYM]

Thanks! Coming from a guy that owns 2 solid CYMs that's a great compliment.
Here's a couple of photos from my wheels tryouts (still undecided). Nothing has been done to the suspension so please no "monster truck" jokes.

I love CYM's but if you are talking about rare any 95 is more rare. I think the 94-95 are much more desirable than the CYM 93's. I have just had way to many 93's to ever buy a cym. I almost bought one with 8,000 miles on it about 3 years ago. Some times I still wish I had. But my Briliant black 95 helps.

I changed my FD's color from montego to yellow. But the yellow is not CYM its actually velocity yellow, a chevy C6 color.
Actually I'm not a fan of the CYM's... Things that I don't like about them: the CYM yellow, the suede seats, the 93's RPM gauge, the r1 wing, and hate the FACT that they don't have a sunroof. But I do like the dual oil coolers and the strut bar.
To be honest white FD's are my favorite. Though I didn't paint mine white because I'm not a white car kind of guy.

in this picture...
knighsports hood
feed wing
chrome rear strut bar
blitz boost gauge
re amemiya boost gauge pod
apexi pfc
94+ interior plastics and 94+ a/c controls
and if it was full sized, the odometer showing 68.1 miles on a new motor.

Black out here is everything but stealth and original. Most young guys drive black modified cars with stock body or some kind of ugly kit with tint and black/polished wheels.
Qball: Car looks great, would look better with a V-Mount
To me, the FD looks strange with a front mount (it makes the car look like it's grinning with braces on, literally). A more aggressive front bumper can change that too.

Guess whatever you own would be your favorite color; I only bought mine because it was yellow - my favorite color for anything. Being a '93 it is a PITA, and the paint will chip if you give it a hard look, but it stands out in the crowd and I have the only one like it for over 400 miles around. White is for minivans, work trucks, and freezers, not sports cars.

From: FL-->NJ/NYC again!
Back when I was at Gotham, I had to drive a customer's CYM to put miles on a fresh motor. It was pretty damn beat up, paint not in great shape and stock suspension. I will say this though.......I remember getting a LOT more attention in the CYM than in my VR FD, that had shiny Fikses wheels on it vs the CYM stock wheels. Go figure, I still shake my head thinking about it. This was in D/FW area of Texas, where there's a pretty big (mostly domestic) car culture.
Btw edgarjsanchez, really nice CYM. Not a fan of those wheels though, I can think of some others that would look much nicer on your car, like Spirit R wheels....

i'd actually love to get a vmount but im selling the car.
the picture was taken when i picked it up last weekend from a rebuild.
the other picture was taken when driving home that day.
the car still has blitz rims and i swapped out the interior for 94+ pieces and new suede seats.

I agree 100% with you. Those wheels where only used to determine what size of wheels to install (18 or 19s).
I'm leaning towards 18's. My favorite right now are the BBS RS-GT. I'll post photos after installation.

The cym I had I put about 6-800 miles on and it blew me away the attention that car got, Im not into that, I dont own cars for the attention. I prefer to be left alone and be able to go about my day. That isnt possible in the "I need attention, look at me, look at me, look at me!!!! CYMs." Just kidding owners, but they do scream I need attention
