Fluidyne vs. Koyo vs. Mazdacomp Radiator
I am deciding what radiator to get, and I am having trouble deciding between the Fluidyne or the Koyo or the Mazda Comp.. Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on which one they perfer, right now I am leaning towards the fluidyne but, I sorta have to wonder why the Mazdacomp is like $200.00 more expensive. The Koyo, I heard it is good but, requires a little fabrication to make it fit properly. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Anyone have one of these and love it?
Thanks

SR motorsports is having a sale on the there ultimate radiators for 499 these things make all aftermarket radiators tiny in comparason. the only thin with these radiators is they may be too big to fit a FMIC but i am not sure about that so dont quote me on that

To my knowledge (someone correct me if I am wrong):
Mazdacomp = Fluidyne
SR Motorsports = Koyo
I don't know what info you couldn't find on here, but search Koyo or Fluidyne. You WILL find a few arguements. Koyo is quit a bit larger, but that means harder to fit in. Within the next few weeks I am going to buy the Koyo, cause like in almost all cases, larger should be better. Spending an extra hour on fitting it in is well worth the time in my opinion. Also, I don't plan on getting a front mount, which should also play into your decision a little. Just SEARCH, I found plenty.

The Mazdaspeed and Fluidyne are not the same. There is strong evidence to suggest the Koyo and SR are the same however. Main difference between Fluidyne and MS is the assembly process, Fluidyne uses a their "noloc" ( think this is the name) process which uses no epoxy while the MS does use epoxy. Both are dimensionally very similar.

The Mazdaspeed (was MazdaComp) radiator is different from the Fluidyne, but is probably pretty similar in dimensions. I have one of these, but I am swapping in a Koyo to get maximum cooling system capacity.
The MS rad did not have any competition for a long time, so it was priced high. Now that the Koyo and Fluidyne radiators are available, I see no reason to pay the high price for the MS.

The mazdacomp radiators are made by a company called AWR. http://www.awrracing.com/pages/cooling.html

The Mazdacomp/Mazdaspeed radiator are retail distributed by AWR Racing, and is made by Ron Davis.
It is a very good radiator for its thickness (28.6-mm), however, I believe it is of an epoxy construction, which means if it fails at any of the epoxy joints, it cannot be re-brazed like the Fluidyne, Koyo, or PWR.
