TE37's are so common, Volk makes some other great options though.
Well, you don't really need to go crazy on the width of the back, and I believe chuck at rotaryextreme found this out the hard way. He got some 18x12 and they were too wide. I would rather make up the difference by going with a lower offset, or I was even thinking about sticking with a similar offset with wider rim and h&r bolted spacers. Just haven't decided yet.

By the way, I don't think the TE37 are common, I think the knockoff rated-r are common.

the ONLY gripe i have about this bodykit, is the rear. I think it should continue down into a similar looking, WIDE underbody diffuser. The curveature of the rear kinda looks a little out of place. Still drop dead gorgeous tho!

Well, I have the RE rear diffuser, just haven't had the time to get it on. I am thinking it will give the back that added effect.

yea, that will help quite a bit. Just wish theyd do something with the rounded bumper on the back for the 100% total different complete look.

I agree with you, I wish the rear diffuser was integrated into the back. I wonder if it has some kind of racing application.

well as far as racing goes, i think they would do without it, just for sheer weights sake, but if they could make a racing diffuser that went into the rear bumper to increase the downforce, that would be amazing

Yeah, I have the replica of the RE amemiya rear diffuser, but I think chuck was saying that it smooths out the air from underneath the car. I don't know how that helps, but all well.

It smooths the air flow, and since air flows over it, it provides more downforce on the car increasing the grip of the rear tires as well as decreasing turbulence.

great job.. I also thought about getting the wide body, but then after I factored in the cost of wheels and other body parts.. i scrapped it... man, i can't wait to see the final product..

What size wheels have you come up w/ so far? I"m really curious on what width you have to run to fit the wheel wells..

good luck and keep up the good work...

Thanks for the kind words,

well, it really isn't width, I could do some kind of deep dish. Chuck said that an 18x12 would fit, but I haven't found anything I like in that kind of width. I am looking into fikse rims right now. They are located here in washington, and I can just take my car down to them and they will do all the measurement and make a custom rim.

It should be done in the next couple of months. I really want to start to work on the interior soon. It is pretty much stock.

Way to go with the Montego Blue! I'm happy to see someone keep that original color when they do crazy body work like this. Every dramatic transformation of half the caliber I've seen includes a cameleon paint job. Glad you kept it MB.

A lot of people on this forum hate the color, but I love it. People always think it is some aftermarket paint job, and they are away surprised to find out that it is a stock color.

yeah, but I don't like the ones I have seen. I like the RE ones, but the aren't very functional. Since they are made for a right hand drive car, you can't see out of the driver side mirror.

Thanks!!!!

no, I want to go with the rotaryextreme headlights, just not a priority right now. Rims and getting my car tuned right is on top of the list.

Hey, if your looking for wheels, you might want to check these guys out. They are by far the most inexpensive 3piece wheels Iv'e found

Braid wheels in concept car

I was quoted $325 17x8 and $370 17x11 for the GT series $37 extra for blue RS cap.
