lol over 1/2 of my "argument" is invalid but the end result remains the same.
If you got approved already, at an interest rate you can agree on, why not get the car already?
Seems like you playing hopscotch in a foward/reverse format.
FYI everything i have stated in that post is based on info you gave us lol

I am just wondering why you are still looking for "other" options as the best one was already a go.
These threads remind me of those other threads, "what DD should i get for under 5k?"
It turns into a 10 page discussion of GREAT cars and in the end, the OP doesnt get anything.

When i financed mine i had quite a time finding someone who would do it. My local credit union BECU would not finance it. This was back in 05. Their reasoning was, it was more than 10 years old. They have a rubric for what determines a car to be ok to finance. It has NOTHING to do with the person taking out the loan as to whether or not they will finance a particular car. The criteria i ran into very frequently was 10 or less years old and under 100k. Constantly. I got my loan through state farm bank. For some reason or another they didnt care about the year. They did however hit me with a 9% loan. But i just paid if off early. So thats my story. Probably even worse now due to economic collapse.

I hope you get an FD, i was in the same situation as you before i bought mine. But luckily for me, i had money in the bank and i didnt have to worry about financing.

USAA is for;
Military - Active/retired/prior service etc
DoD - any government employee
Civilian Contractor - same as above
Civilian dependent(spouse) - of any of the above
I have USAA because i just joined the USAF, and i've learned so much about them through my parents having them.
My interest loan is at 3.9% for a 16k loan on my FD, and my insurance is $500 every 6 months full coverage for 2 cars; an 88 Toyota Corolla 4-dr and the FD.
Both bills total up to $380/month and show up on one statement.
The awesome part is whenever i receive a check for my side job as an auto detailer, or family, i can simply take a picture of the check, txt it to USAA and it will show up on my account the next day.
I even have my iphone app that transfers charge payments from my detailing job from debit and cc payments to it too.....
Im a 25 year old who has a less then stellar driving record, and great credit score at 720. If that helps any.
USAA is awesome and their customer service is EPIC
