Finaly bought a car on auctions!
Hello everybody. I've been posting on this forum for some time already. I was planing to buy car from japan, either supra TT auto or RX7 5speed. i could not decide which one i liked better. in supra i liked brutal power but i realy dont like automatics. In RX7 i like nimble handling and finished classy looks but i was afraid of buying rotary powred car due to reasons we all know. So the fate decided it for me. after several losses on auctions, yesterday evening we bidded on two cars: 93 black supra turbo auto and 95 RX7 5 speed. supra had 60K miles on it and RX7 had 40K. Supra auction was first but we lost it and instantly bidded on RX7 the auction of which was 30 minutes later and we won it!!! so now i'm am the lucky owner of black 95 RX7 Type R which will arrive in about two months to my location

6300?
I got mine for 6500 Canadian, from japan through private auction not through a company. uhh www.japaneseusedcars.com great site. Shipping was 1500, but all and all, to have the car, and in my city cost 9000. As for 6300, is that WITH shipping? wow if so, holy you scored man!

yes i confirm about 6300USD imported (withought local taxes ofcourse which at my location, Republic of Georgia is about 700$) but i have not payed for shipping yet, ill pay for it in two weeks before car container arrival to my location. Shipping from yokohama to Poti (the port i indicated for arrival) is 1200$

No you dont smell fish. 94-95 FD in japan costs about 4000-4500$. Then goes additional costs for transportation of the car to nearest port, puting it in container and then on the ship. that will bump your price from 4000 to about 5300 and then shipping costs. But i dont know if it will make sense to import it to US because you have to legalize it for US and get vin number which JDMs dont have ofcourse.

let me tell you that Rx7, supra, 300zx and others in japan cost 2X and more times less than in usa. I got a good deal because JDMs are legal in my country thats it.

I need to move out of this god damned country to get one of these 2002 RX7 type R's.. that and because our ******* politicians would rather spend money on a ******* war than pass a bill to fund children's health care all because it would be taking money out of private insurance I have more respect for strippers than big business and politician.

But yeah, Americans tend to forget that while we only got 500 1995 RX-7s, Japan got 5,000 and they also got 96-2002 models, which is why 95s here hold their value, but in the rest of the world, it's just a 95. All RX-7s are awesome though. 78-2002.

Okay, why don't you give your money to the welfare children? You want the Government to controll health care and they can't even run the country properly. Good thinking
