Finally got my FD!!! and she's a beauty!!! (Pics and more pics to come...)
After 79 days of searching, and 2 deals falling through, I finally found my FD!
93 Montego Blue - Touring Edition
New Dowel-pinned, Streetported Engine (only 300 miles)
Turbonetics T-66 Turbo
HKS Turbo Manifold
HKS Standard Wastegate
Hybrid Intercooler/Piping
Greddy Type-R Blow off valve
Greddy Turbo Timer
Thermal Research Exhaust
SX Fuel Pump and Regulator
Red Top Optima Battery
Haltech E6K
Enkei Aegis Wheels 18x8.5 F; 18x19 R
Wrapped in Toyo Proxes 235 F; 275 R
I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting. I have a couple of HUGE pics that I'll link (56K beware!). I'll take some more pics tomorrow after I wash the car...

Sounds nice, how much did you pay for it?
Kind of sketchy Mazda symbol missing on hood though. Is that an old pic? is it replaced or are the holes filled in now?

the paint is brand new, the owner was going to put Efini emblems but didn't get around to it since it has been out of commission with no engine...I'll probably put the Efini emblems. I just didn't want to be accused of rice (trying to pass off a car as something it's not) I don't really think it is, but one of my friends said that...

Congratulations!
Reminds me of when I bought mine in NewJersey: drove it with a big grin all the way to Illinois! I still say these cars bring me more "smiles per gallon" than any other: my gas purchases are listed under "Entertainment Expenses". LOL!

The seller was shooting for 600 whp. After the engine is all broken in we'll find out for sure, but 500 whp should be very attainable. It has LARGE streetports, so it has the potential to be an absolute beast.
This should probably be in a different thread, but my mechanic works with Microtech ECUs a lot more than Haltech E6K and wants me to switch. He said that he could probably get me around $600 for my used Haltech. He is becoming a Microtech distributor, so I would be able to get a good price on it. He says that he is much more familiar with the Microtech interface and could have accomplished the primary tuning which has taken him about a week in only a day with the Microtech. Any input on this?
BTW: Florida has been seriously sucking my ***** lately. We NEVER have three days straight rain around here with no sunshine, but it has been that way for the last 3, and it is supposed to continue for the next couple of days. All that said, I can't exactly take any good pics yet, but don't worry, they will come.
In answer to you how much I paid....$20K. The paint job was just done in Feb of 03 and it is GORGEOUS up close. I'm glad that I skipped both of the CYMs that I was considering. The interior is also immaculate. Literally, everything is done on this car. After I recover from this rather large purchase, I'm going to focus on audio. A couple layers of Dynamat and the new Alpine CDA-9815 to start with....

That's a sweet deal. Fully modded, painted w/ 18's and newly rebuilt ported motor...
Alot of us have spent twice as much, over the years, and still don't have that much power(potential)!
Nice work.
