Talking Finally finished my Underhood project! ***pics***

Just thought I'd share a couple of pics of my finalized underhood project. I had all of my parts polished, a clear cover made for the M2 intake, and since I didn't like the unfinished look of all those parts without the shrouding in front to cover the relays, fans, etc., I had this custom shroud made from aluminum and painted glossy black to finish it all off.

Let me know what you think!

If someone can resize the images, it would be great.

Thanks!

-Ian

Here's a before & after shot:

There's definitely something to be said about a clean stock OEM engine bay, but it's just SO hard not to modify!

Really clean, nothing over the top. I like it.
Where did the fusebox that would normally be under the black cover go?

It's still there. Nothing under that area was moved, making it a much simpler install.

Thanks for lookin'

Thanks guys...I made the template out of cardboard, thenbrought it over to my welding guy who cut it out of aluminum, then I had a buddy at a body shop paint it for me.

I actually never even considered lowered operating temps from it, as I just wanted a cleaner look underneath, but it seems like it's keeping lower temps too!

Bonus!

Very nice! I like the clear top for the filter. And I'm definitely going to need to make a cover too, it really cleans up that part of the bay.

Exactly what is the clear material you used to cover the filters and where did you get it?

Looks great everywhere!

I just brought the original aluminum M2 Intake cover to a local plastic house and had them cust a piece of 1/4" clear lexan to that shape. It was only like $30 but it made a huge difference IMO.
