I traped those speeds with only full exhaust, intake, and power fc @12.5 boost on a 95 degree day in July. I have seen alot of other posts that have similar results as me.
As far as track conditions...i would think they would have a greater impact on ET then trap speed.
I am not dissing on you goodfella just stating my experiences.
Hey, no big deal. I have thick skin . Actually, I found the reason why my traps were a bit low.....I'm putting up another thread about it now.

How do I know. I have not seen my car for 20 months.

Dave says the bushings make the car run like it is on rails. Should help cure wheel hop too.

Whatever JIMLAB says you can take it to the bank. He's working on unbreakable differential parts for his monster FD V8 now. That will be a winner, if he does it, for all the high-performance drag racers.

Maybe you should start a Jim L forum only. Try JimL.com. I think the progress on his car is interesting but it hasnt run in .....what? 4 years. If you have knowledge to share then share it and stop regurgitating someone elses.

Have you seen any BnR turbos run at the track yet. I think you've been reading too many magazines. The stock turbo's can hit 122-125 mph in the quarter besides being much more streetable. I havent seen any of the aftermarket twins do that yet, although I hope they do.

actually i havent read one thing about the bnr turbos, i've just heard about them by word of mouth, i honestly think that when your stock twins go out, its time to go single, but not everybody can afford that.

Yeah, it seems this happens alot in my threads. Maybe it's just me

The main benefits I have realized from the fans:

cruising around at speeds below 60mph I see the temps drop down around 5 degrees.

At the road course it definitely helps---the more air, the better when you're constantly on it. My intake temps don't skyrocket as high.

At the strip, the main benefit is to spray water into the duct and have the fans suck it through the fins in between runs. Helps keep the IC from heat soaking so much. By doing this I can keep my intake temps manageable---around 40-50, whereas they used to jump to 70 after repeated runs in the texas heat.
Sounds like the fans definitely lower the intake temp. Time to go buy my fans.
Thanks
Rick

I have not been ripped like this in a long time. I post what I know and if that is regurgitating old ideas then so be it. I did a group buy on water injection 20 months ago on the "Big List", seems like others think water is good too. I did a group buy on this forum a year ago on "Single Turbos" and many went with that. I went with the T04e kit. I do what I can for the rotary community.

Check my list of mods and tell me what my next experiment is all about?

If I'm right then many will want that option too. Maybe even JIMLAB, he's interested in the results. I'll have the results in the next month if KDR comes through and finally gets my car finished.

Two quick questions for you:

(1) Did you read my post, or just the subject line?

(2) Are you familiar with drag racing?

take it easy--

Actually Hannah, I wasn't flaming him, but asking some serious questions. Let's see: non-drag tires with way too much air pressure, suspension set up in the exact opposite manner that is beneficial for drag racing, a boost leak, and an absolutely shitty track. I mean, excuses are like ********, but the facts are important too. Why are some people on this forum so negative, rather than constructive?
