Fighters-Garage Intake

Some of you asked me to post some pictures of the Fighters Garage intake once I installed it on my car. Here you go. Can't beat it for $197.

Unknown who made the aftermarket body parts. They were installed by a previous owner. I'm sure there are some people on this site who could identify their origin though.

Yours looked to be installed a lot nicer than mine. It was the first time I ever crimped K&N intakes. Also there is no way I am getting either one to be that straight up top.

I didn't like the heatsheild that came with it, I am gonna end up taking one are Damians heatsheild.

Edit: What it tarnations is a seeming air hose doing used as your upper radiator hose!

The only adjustment I made during installation was trimming about half an inch off of the air pump hose to get the pipe to point straight forward towards the nose of the car. And yes I have to agree....not to sure about the heat shield....but I give the guys credit here. Their intention was to make an affordable intake system. To manufacture this heat shield took cutting out a pattern and hitting it three times with a break press. Fabricating a box would have increased the price substantially. I think it's a hell of a bargan for what you get. Nice job by the guys at Fighters Garage.

Also, that is not an air hose being used for the upper radiator hose. I assure you, it was meant to hold coolant.
