Yea, it's a powertrain warrany and includes apex seal failure and gaskets I did'nt get the paper work for it but it was $1,300 for 12mo./12,000miles which to me seemed short but I guess if you get another one right when it expires it'll cost less then a new engine. Besides REMANs come with a warranty.

the best way to buy a rx7 is to buy one that someone already blew up for cheap then buy a new motor and know what went into it a "rebuild" to a rotary doesnt mean much if they just replace what broke and not everything when they were in there. just my opinion on it

That's what I was thinking, and by "certified" it dosent have to be Mazda certified but the sales rep. said something, (I think it was some 3 letter acronyme) but I specifically asked if I could take it to Gotham Racing and they said that would be fine. And i'll be going with a Supra and I might get an FD for a project car in the future so I won't be dependant on it.
