Also, people are in debt because of their cars? Are you guys dumb or stupid? Drive a bucket until you could afford one. Paying interest is a waste!!!

just dont hate me cuz you aint me by the way, i payed for my car 24 yrs old :werd: And even though I paid for everything, I only wish my dad bought my car, paid my insurance, gas, maintenance, etc. Hey if your parents can easily afford it, why the hell not? |
It's plenty legible, stop whining you grammar nazi's. Don't act like you spent 5 hours trying to decode it in agony nearing suffocation. Welcome to the internet, it's not a college entrance essay, deal with a few missing periods because you'll encounter them often here.

Wish I didn't have to pay for everything, but I do. It'd be awesome if my parents would help me out. But they won't. It's gonna be rough when I quit my 100/k a year job in sept. to go to college. But, I hope to never have to sell the fd. P.S. WTF ARE YOU DOING MAKING 100K/year AT 19!!!!! |
23.....looks like up and coming is taking the crown!!!
|
16 w/ LS1 H/C/N20 LS1 swap as a weekend car once the swaps done (hopefully by the end of june if i can get some time to work on it). I honestly didnt pay for any of it myself, nor do i pay my insurance or gas. Im thankful for it everyday, so please dont assume im an ungrateful little punk. Also me being allowed to drive it or my DD depends on me keeping my grades up...which i do

As of right now, after 103 entries, the average FD owner is 26.747 years old, or the equivalent of being born on Sept 4th, 1979 at 8.47 PM
Couldnt think of anything better to do on my lunch break. |
Well I'm 18. And if all goes well I'll have my FD in a week or so. :)
|
49.
This is my first and only FD, had it 5 years. It's an autocross and track toy, doesn't get driven much on the street, and is trailered to events. Ever break your car at the track? It's nice to have a way home when you do. And there's no fooling around trying to stuff tires and tools in the car, and then changing them at the track. Twice. Mods: Single Turbo - TS04 Full Exhaust Power FC Greddy FMIC Wilwood Brakes (being shipped) Datalogit ( need to install) Innovate LC-1 Wideband (also need to install) Koni Yellow w/Ground Control Act 6 Puck clutch A few others I can't recall at the moment. I have a 2000 Miata for a daily driver. It's actually more fun on the street than the RX-7 anyway. And less likely to land me in Jail. (Get a ticket for over 100 in Oregon and you lose your license, possible jail time. Too easy to do in the RX-7) Wanna see what it'll do? You have to show up at the track. :) |
^ ha, my brother in law is up at Portland Intl., taking a track day I got for him last x-mas. If I wasn't so busy, I would have showed up at the track today!
|
28, I have owned my FD since 96. Bought it with 2000 miles on it and paid it off in four years by my self. I also paid for the insurence, storeage coverage saved me in the winter months. I am just about to pass the 30,000 mile mark. It still is the love of my life.
|
im 21 with 2 fd's one under construction and the other totaled.
|
Lol just made up and coming. I'm 20 going on 21, I first replied to this type of post when I was 18 and just entering college. Man time flies when you're spending money lol. Its cool watching something grow and mold into the way you want it to be from completely stock to a car with just the right mods to make you happy and satisfied. O and just for reference I paid for everything on my car as well as insurance and the price of the car.
|
33 , my 3rd seven.........and getting younger by the minute

Have you ever had a wine or whiskey, that was embodied with full flavor while in its fledgling state? The quality, the essence, the flavor comes with aging. Knowledge, wisdom, and vision also come with aging and experience. Sure its always good to hire a teenager while they still know everything and we can certainly let them think that they know everything. But realize that old is strictly a state of mind and being a youngster is a state of being - dumb and irresponsible (in many cases). We drive a vehicle that realistically requires some things most of the youngsters "aint got yet" but will probably have sometime in the future. Money, knowledge, patience, maturity and a true appreciation of the beautiful things in life. In common vernacular, dude you aint old, you be bad, and you got a phat car! chuck |
