fd lift kit needed
I need about 2 more inches in the front to clear my tires. Does anyone know of a coil spring spacers. Like an aluminum spacer similar to a hockey puck that would give me 2 more inches of clearance. I have though of adjustable coil overs but did not know what would be a good brand to go with due to the fact that I plan on having an ls1 in mine in the near future. Thanks in advance Cory

When I saw the title of the thread, my first thought was "that can't be what I think it is." My second thought was "if that is what I think it is, it must be a redneck." Go figure, you're from mississippi.

what size tire do you have on your 20's?
If you are running larger rims you should at least get proper fitting tires. That should fix your rubbing.
Band-aiding a poor fit with more parts is not the smart way to do it. You already cheaped out once dont do it again.
Plus I am dying to know your widths and wonder if you went with less than a 8 inch wide with those 20's:P
Finally....ditch the 20's

but seriously... you're not going to fool anyone with wheels like that. the kind of people that will see your car and can appreciate an FD are going to think you're mentally deficient.

from what you said in your first post, it sounds like you're gonna be dropping a bit of money into your RX7. so why would you cheap out and try to ghetto-rig the car and ruin the suspension so you can use wheels that won't fit and don't belong on the car anyway?

this is a tire size calculator.

It is your friend. The stock diameter is 25"
your diameter with those tires are 26.2"
also a good link for reference.

You are a FULL 1.2 inchs taller than stock. No wonder why your rub. Your car probably already looks like a 4x4. If you add coilovers and raise the ride height it will make the look WORSE.
according to the calculator you could get 225/25/20 but with so little side wall, the first pothole you hit..bye bye rim. Plus, do they even make this size?
here is a fitment guide posted by jimlab that has some data for 20's on the FD
