FD Front / Rear Glass R&R (Rust)

Recently my buddy got his windshield smashed and I took him to a local glass shop to have it replaced. When they pulled it, it seems someone had already pulled and replaced the glass. Thet found quite a bit of rust under the molding by the passenger side. Whoever replaced the glass put too much glue which didn't allow water to flow through and run out...So when it rained the water just trickle down and just sit there. This cause the rust. After finding this they did the rear glass too and found some more rust. They sanded it down and primered it and put it all back together. They said a way you can tell is run your finger alone the molding and feel for bumps in it. Then on that section take a thin flat head screwdriver and take a peek. His car was imaculate everywhere else and you never would have thought you'd find rust...Probably a good idea to have the R&R done. The cars are getting up there in age.

The cost of replacing the molding and cleaning up around the edgs on both the front and rear was $160 ($80 each) and you get nice new molding.
