my FD is my daily driver also. i dont want to buy such a nice car and not be able to cruise it. since i changed jobs and live about a mile from work now i ride my bike to work(02 honda 954rr) becuase i hate the idea of just turning the car on warming it up then turning it off. doesnt give it enough time to drive. bike also gets 35 mpg. i have a beastly 87 4 runner which i will be using from here on out cause i want to turn the rx7 into a weekend fun car(i know i contradicted myself)

Either a '97 maxima with 142k or a '98 Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited with about 184k. The max had about 80k on it when I got it about 20 months ago. And the grand had 163k when I got it a year ago!

I have a Jeep Cherokee for hauling stuff, very dependable and an absolute opposite to the 7 in space, size, and power... (It does have a bunch of tourque since it can tow stuff, but no real HP and it's automatic... and 4WD) Rx-7 -> Jeep Cherokee Polar Opposites !

My FD is my daily beater, no use on buying a FD if you're not going to drive it unless ofcourse cuz of weather conditions

EH..... I would say that I just because one has a daily driver doesn't mean they don't drive their FD. It's my weekend warrior. If something happens and it takes more than the weekend to fix I need a car to get me to work.

I drive my FD every chance I can, but its still not my daily driver. My DD is a '96 Toyota Landcruiser 122k mi, and on backup- '77 F250, and a '01 CBR929 for the days when the FD just isnt quite fast enough...

I drive the FD a lot, but consider my other car, a 95 r33 skyline sedan (ie: 4 door) to be my 'beater'. It's the lowest of the low - rb20e auto, but still a nice, cheap, car.
