Can you please post as much information as you can about that car. Exact body kit, wheels, wing, suspension...everything you can think of. A friend of mine want s to build it for his daughters 18th birthday. I guess thats what getting straight A's gets ya.

guys, im kinda in the same situation. so please help me out.

my wife is pregnant with our first baby boy, and i would like to build up a car for him, so when he is 16, he could drive off in a cool ( ) car. my wife an i decided that the Fast and Furious Supra was a good choice, but we dont want to give him a fast car as his first car. so i thought about getting a naturally aspirated Surpa, and making it look exaclty like the one in the movie. so please can you tell me where i can get the graphics, stickers, wing, body kit, and everything else that was modified on the car in the movie, and if any of you know the paint code to the orange color, that would be really helpfull. i want my son to drive the exact same car! but the only problem is that it will be N/A, and the one in the movie was turbo charged, so i would also like to find a place that sells the N/A blow off valves and plastic FMICs. also, since i want it to be exactly like the real FATF Supra, it has to have a boost gauge. how can you make a boost gauge function like it does on a turbo charged car, for a naturally aspirated car?? is there anything you can hook it up to, to make the gauge biuld boost when you floor the gas??? one more thing...i want the car to have the same exact NOS bottles, but i dont want to hook up the NOS since it will make the car too fast. can you buy empty NOS bottles?? and just the bottle alone, without the rest of the kit (lines, fittings etc.)??

JoeD - Go post that on the Supra forum. I guarantee you somebody will actually answer some of those questions.

 

Look, this may be none of my business, but a 16 year old would probably kill him/herself in either one of those cars. Even if it was N/A and no NOS it would still be extremely fast. If I had a car like that when I was 16 I probably would not be alive to write this. Personally, I would make my kids (if I had any) drive for at least 2 years before driving that kind of machine unless they were somehow able to build/pay for it thenselves

BTW, NOS bottles come empty. Can you imagine sending a full bottle of NOS through the mail? Doubt UPS would like that!

That movie did really suck. Most of the cars looked nice in it but that's as far as it went. It pissed me off that they wrecked the Charger (I'm just now getting into imports, still haven't sold my 'Cuda.) Plot sucked. It also bothers me to see everyone (not necessairly ppl who post here) who wants a car just like in the movie. (sigh)

You don't need to worry about what's under the hood in that car anyways ... it's got a couple of bolt ons, but that car is basically stock under the hood. It's a joke inside and out.

And the outside ... does anyone else think it's funny that your username is "Veilside-RX7", yet you're asking what's on the outside of that car? (Hint hint ... it's in your username.)

Who the hell anyways would put $100,000 into a $35,000 car...only a fool....get a Ferrari or 911 turbo and be a real man.

 

i honestly dont think it is possible to spend $100K in performance mods for an S2000. even if you buy everything out there, it wont add up to $100K.

 

You forgot the expensium body panels. They weigh (entire car) about 4 ozs and the cost is stratospheric.

future scenario: Daddy spends big bucks on daughters car. She is cool, races around like in the movie! Gets lots of tickets! Tries to form her own "crew!" Girl puts in 87 octane gas(gas is expensive, she's just in highschool!) and changes oil every 5000 miles. Car cries to be put out of mercy. either

a) girl tries to show off speed and kills herself in horrific wreck
b) engine self destructs, insurance company laughs and sends nothing. Girls buys 1989 Geo Storm as daily beater.

not ripping on girls specifically. there are some cool ones on this forum. Most dont know what getting a FD requires. Hell, most guys dont know either. I've been learning ever since I first wanted one, and I feel I know just enough to warrant the responsibility.

btw...LOL at Veilside. You might think that the big *** sticker on the car the says VEILSIDE might give a hint as to what kit it had. Which happens to be the same one in your name...LMAO

 

btw...the supra info is on suprastore.com if you look for it....they built that car for the movie. And are you sure you want that pink/orange color? Its made by 1 company only. For Lamborginis. AT a prce of about 6 grand for the paint job. but hey, to each and every his own. (the build price of that car was over 75K, I'm pretty sure thats including the 93 targa TT supra)
