Famspeed High Flow Twins

Does anybody have any experience with or heard anything about the Famspeed High Flow Twins? Here's a link: http://www2u.biglobe.ne.jp/~fam/part...bin/index.html

I know some guys on the forum have run the Knight Sports RF420 twins, but I haven't heard of anybody running the Famspeed twins. It would probably be a PITA to get them over to the US, but I go to Japan around every other year so I was just going to call them in advance and pickup/purchase/exchange core once I'm there.

Please let me know if you know anything about these twins. Thanks.

BNR really the best choice for twins.

I have no experience with Famspeed, but BNR is located here in the states (and they look to be a Japanese version on the BNR's)

The worse thing about buying parts from Japan is the high prices, long production/ shipping time, postage & a general lack of interest in the American market (customer service)

The BNR's are proven, cheap, serviceable, and local (very good communication & turnaround time)

You can also deal directly with Brian (owner or BNR) and not some distributor or middle man.

You can also customize your BNR's (different seals, allowing you
To use synthetic oil)

BNR FTW!

All the aspects of the BNR's sell the deal for me.

I plan on boosting the **** out of my twins, so servicability and turnaround are paramount.

The Knightsports have the advantage as in they are ball bearing. Revolution and R magic are both testing the GCG (M2) B/B Turbochargers. KS is going to upgrade and re-do their FD "RF420" twin kit here soon. Going with specifically made garretts for their application which will be ball bearing as usual.

The BNRs are not ball bearing last time I heard.

Famspeed's kit should be something similar to it, but they are advertising 500 ps (probably at the engine). If so, then it's pretty damn good power out of twins.

I'm very skeptical about the 500ps claim. I want to call them one of these days and ask them the details of their test, like how many lbs/bar they were boosting, etc.

Keep in mind, the the claim is probably

1) At the engine, not the wheels.

And also:

2) The japanese have 100 RON High octane.

So, those might be factors as to how they advertise/market their products.
