With that kind of action going on under the hood that is visable, I would be reluctant to even start it till I assesed all the nastiness. Who knows what else is not hooked up properly etc that you cant see. I would start by doing a hose replacement job if you have not done one yet you probably need to do it anyway, then you'll know for sure everything in that dep is hooked up right. My car had a factory reman and new turbos in it before I purchased it. When I did the hoses they had check valves in backwords (3 leaked as well) hoses that where cracked etc and that was done at the dealership! I would also see about a comp test to see if your rebuild is good. Good luck with it all

The job on your car was obviously done poorly. I wouldn't take it back there.
You need your vacuum hoses done right. You can see that many are messed up. There are many more that you can't see. Those are probably bad too. If you don't want to do it, you need to take it in to a reputable shop, like Petit. Once it is there, they can put things back the way they should be.

Far from perfect when it got there? Please provide examples, because you have NO IEA what you are talking about. You are listening to his word. Tell me 1 thing wrong with my car other than the blown coolant seal, I DARE you. Look at those pictures dude, I'm glad you stand behind your friend, that's nice, but wise up, he SUCKS. Explain why he did all those things to my car. The turbos were fine, he tried to say that the rear (secondary tuirbo) was shot and that's why when he gve it back to me I got ZERO boost. If you knwo ANYTHING about these cars, it would have boosted just fine till the boost would fall off when the scondary tried to kick in. But I got ZERO boost, and that was his explaination, so you tell me how he is such a good mechanic!!
With all that said, I think he can rebuild an engine ok, which is why you see 2nd and 1st gen owners happy with him, but he has NO IDEA how to deal with the 3rd gens complicated turbo system. Why did he tel me it's done, and lie telling em it boosted 10 psi when that is IMPOSSIBLE, look at the pictures!!! He is a liar and a complete moron when it comes to 3rd gens, and I have proven it.

EDIT: I do not speak out of my ***, I did see your car, I did see your engine and I did see your turbos. Jose has no reason to lie to you, steal anything from you, or make **** up. I have close personal friends with 3rd gens that have gone there and he has built their engines and are still running strong with no problems. A few members here on the forum, I'll let them speak up if they wish, but they don't frequent the forum much. I don't get you man. If you had all these problems with the car, why didn't you call them out there at the shop? Why did you wait til you got to Jacksonville to ask questions? Why didn't you test drive it with Jose, if there were still problems, address them THERE!

I like my taillights moron, and the fender was just temporary. That's it, try to attack me to defend that idiots work, that will make everyone beleive you.

As for the rest of your comment, when I saw the freaking LUGNUT in my prespool blowoff valve line, I knew he was a damn moron, and didn't want him to touch my car anymore. Ask hi, I grilled him about it. The reason he thinks he put it there, is because he also made my car non-sequential, WITHOUT ASKING ME. Explain that!!! I already called him and told him if I don't see my money, I will be sueing him.

you still haven't backed up a single thing. Look at the pictures, explain why there was NO boost the first time he "fixed it" and wh only 6 psi this time. Explain why he didn't hook up half the emissions, after he tore it out the first time. Explain why he he put it back together with broken hoses and stuck a lugnut in my Blowoff valve, telling me I don't need it. To be honest the DBL throttle is only there to keep excess boost down when cold. With it unhooked it stays open and all you have to do is stay off the boost untill the car is fully warmed up. This is one of the things most people get rid of as long as there the only ones driving the car. The vacuum diagram shows you which solenoid it's hooked up to and it has a check valve in the line as well.

Prescription, you are right. And after I sue Jose for the money, I will take it to Pettit, that was my plan.
Can'tGoStraight, thanks for your input, that is the true meaning of this post, I need to fix the damn car. So if it's not the double throttle that is causing it to boost 6psi, any ideas what it might be?

I did notice the lugnut, I said that earlier. When i questioned him, he said that you don't need 2 blowoff valves and that one does nothing. At that point I knew I would never let him near my car again and I left.
That brings a good question, does it need the presppol PCV if you go non-sequential? I am petty sure by looking at how the hoses are setup, he tried to make my car non-sequential. Does anyone have the diagram for the poor man's non-sequentail, so I can compare it to what this guy did to my car?

and I told him this time around...You better take the car for a test drive and inspect it
