Experience w/ the Cusco 6-point Cage?
hey all... any here have experience w/ the Cusco 6-point cage (or any linkage for good pics of it)? i'm thinking about getting one as i don't really want to weld a full cage into the car and the Cusco looks like one of the nicer of the bolt-in's... my main concerns are regarding the turn-signal stalk, i have heard talk about it needing to be modiied to accomodate the cage, since it was designed for a right-hand drive FD... also, is installation a bitch? any cutting involved? and should the seats be in or out of the car when installing it? lastly, i have a backseat in my FD (transplant from a japanese FD), will the Cusco cage fit in the car w/ the backseat in it? thanks in advance all...

If you are gonna do racing in SCCA or NHRA, cusco cages are illegal. Why? Because the turning points are not 1 piece but bolted pieces together. Only the part of the cage going to the chassis's floor is allowed to be a bolt on according to the rules.
