little deepeer a little more quiet. greddy titainium with my set up sounds more like that only a little more quiet at idle as I dont have a port. Unsder full throttle it really sounds aggressive. There was a thread with a bunch of vids and exhaust noises but all the vids are now off line.

I was always "quiet is better"...but lets face it, when you get on it..you want to hear it. WOT on the 7 sounds aggressive as hell and makes people look. The trick is to be quiet and deep at idle and yet still open enough for power and flames. one gets this by making a bigger chamber. High flow cat over midpipe, or silencer over straight pipe. A guy here made an exhaust out of 3" pipe with a custom silencer and it sounds great...better than any expensive muffler imo.

I think the racing beat exhaust for the first gen with presilencer is the best. Deep and sexy. Why they didnt make that for the 3rd gen is beyond me. The racing beat 3rd gen cannister sounds a bit choked imo. Most others sound to tin'y. Of the small exhausts, ie not 3'"monster singles, the m2 sounds best, then racing beat assuming you have a stock cat.

What would be the best pick if i want an exhaust which sound as quiet as possible as the stock but still perform well? I'm sick of getting EPA notice and being pulled over by the cops for my loud exhaust

How big is the noise difference between RB dual and single tip?
