It almost sounds like my Turbo Tuff but mine is deeper then that, I like it but too deep for my taste. I just dont want to get too much attention from the crazy cops in the city. I want it to sound more like a classy Lambo or Ferrari sound

i dont think exhuast rice has to do with sound, it has to do with if you got a 1 inch inlet and a 5 inch outlet. if you got a 4 inch inlet comming from a full 4 inch midpipe/catback and a 4 inch outlet, there isnt any rice i can see here. sure it will be hella loud but what do you expect

Personally I don't know of any straight exhaust on an FD that sounds ricey. They all sound like some kind of helicopter or airplane. RB dual tips are for old men. I'm 40 and I won't be using one of those heavy *** non flowing, flaming, back firing exhaust until I'm about 60.

If your really hardcore you should buy my JIC single tip. The pipe (3.2 inch) is slightly bigger than the n1 (3 inch) and it weighs about 6 or 7lbs. This ****** will make your grand dad run inside and turn the hearing aid off

I guess i fall into the "older" group... At 20 I have a 3 inch dp/mp/rb dual tip, and even on break in (almost done) its noisy. I can handle it now, but im affraid of how its going to sound at WOT with 15 PSI flowing thru my motor.

PFS in my opinion is still hands down the best sounding catback.

I have RB dual tip, 3in dp, resonated mp and it is still loud. I love it, sometimes it can get a little much on long trips though. And its not for old men, I'm 25.

Hey poorboyracing what rims are those? they look great!

That's what my friends tell me when they here my car coming down the street

I have the blitz nurspec that came with the car. My car is stock ride height and I've still had problems with the muffler scraping the ground. I don't mind the exhaust note, but if I did switch I think I'd go with the Racing Beat exhaust.

So does anyone know the value of my Turbo Tuff exhaust? I'm possibly putting it up soon with a bunch of other stuff for sale soon. Putting up Stock turbo with no shaft play and no cracked manifold and Apexi Dual Intake kit, etc.

One of my fds is currently running this setup with a straight thru exhaust. I put it on after selling my Greddy SP and man does the PFS sound like ****. It is loud and annoying to even cruise with. NOt as loud as the N1 or Nurspec but IMO it sounds like ****. The lady that works at Krystal's actually asked me to turn my car off when I made my order thru the drivethru.

I've been VERY happy with the deeper tone at cruising and idle.

At WOT it screams like a Banshee.

^^^ My TurboTuff sounds like what you described but I figured that I'm kinda tired of the large open end, which is giving me the thought of getting a RB Dual Anyone want to trade?

the HKS hiper exhaust (not the titanium or carbonfiber one) sounds the best to me personally. and weights light as hell

I personally think though that you should consider more then just the sound and look when buying exhuast systems. If I had the money I would go for the complete titanium exhuast!

that titanium even though its powerful reminds me of the new BMW m3 exhaust. ugly and horrible

thats a good vid if you have image station, sounds like mine. I have high dp, high flow cat, custom straight pipe w/dual tip cat back. Im adding greddy titainium for a deeper tone and a more quiet idle.
