Ever get bored with the FD?
Did any of you ever get bored with the FD? Lately I just feel that I am kinda bored with the FD.
I have had the car for around 3 years, what should I do know? Should I sell it?
Pics of the car when I got it.

Had my car over 4 years, and have never been bored with it. Wish I had more luggage space at times, but never bored. Puts a smile on my face every time the turbo spools up.

I've had my car for about 5-6 years. Every year I do some sort of modifications so I'm yet to be bored with it. Plus it's not my DD so that might be another reason I look forward to driving it whenever I get the chance.
If your bored with it, that seems like a serious problem which you need to address in some way. If you can realize why your bored with the car it'll be much easier for you to decide what to do with it.

I can tell you from personall experiance. I daily drove my FD and did end up getting used to it and it felt so ordinary, especially when I started to drive a bit slower thanks to my drivers licence situation. There was a local track event at a circuit and I decided to take the car...
I started planning a rebuild and a single project as soon as I got home.
Trust what everyone is saying here man. When you start really learning, under proper instruction, what your car is capable of you will not be bored for quite some time. Theres always the next level when it comes to driving. Youve just reached the limit of your current level.
Time to step it up.

Rebuild the motor, when you become one with the car, grease, fluids, blood and tears. Then you will become more attached and never bored. If you wrench your own, you develope the bond.

I've never been bored with the car itself, but I have gotten bored of the roads I drive it on. Everytime I try to have a little fun with it, I see the flashing lights in my rearview. xblazinlv knows what I'm taking about. Anyway, I can't wait to take mine to the track and really do what the car's built to do without fear of repercussions

I am kind of bored of my car right now but I think it is all the matter of the following combination. Money, Weather and Time. I got no time no money and it doesn't stop raining here so that explains it. Otherwise once I step in I am seduced all over again.

It seems like there's always something to do on my car - LOTS of little projects that I really enjoy. Big thing for me is making it as new looking as possible, and finding the little things that need improvement. For example, the plastic guard over the metal fuel lines under the car was all broken and crappy. Got a new one from Ray at Malloy (wasn't too pricey) and it looks SO much better now.
I've got a bunch of "small" projects like that for the car - it always keeps things interesting. Not to mention when you get a thumbs up from someone, or some kids point and stare at your car.
I usually drive my car really easy - even still, it's crazy fun.

a little aside for Dale. After Installing my new intake I followed your instructions for the releife hose. However, where as you stated that use of a 7/8' chair leg, I had to use a 1 1/4' to get it on my hose.
Works great for now, makes MUCH less noise, and you get to hear things working very nicely.
