NM Ets fmic

I am looking for a good IC, I am leaning towards a FMIC, I just cant imagine any IC in the engine bay being as effective...

That being said, anyone use the ETS FMIC? Or might you have any other recommendations?

Thank you.

V/R,
Steven

In for information, this is the FMIC I want.

I know "93touringFD" runs one, and likes it from what I have gathered. It looks like a solid kit, especially for the price.

I've got one on now and I'm pretty happy with it. Don't dismiss SMIC's not being effective, cause that's not the case. There are some great SMIC's out there. Sometimes I wish I had gone that route but I'm not dissatisfied with my ETS FMIC. The only drawback is the removal of essentially all the stuff in the front end. I plan to have some custom reinforcements made to replace it. If you click on my build thread I think there's a few pics if you want to check it out. I got the thicker core but I'm not totally convinced it was necessary or worth the extra $100 bucks.

Much of your intercooler selection is going to depend on your power goals, and the climate of driving you do. What are you looking to make?

I looked VERY hard at the ETS, and almost bought it. But I decided to go Vmount for the versatility.

I planned to make around 450whp with 50/50 AI. RE's setup was more than enough.

Being in the military, my FD could easily see extreme heat depending on my duty location. I believe the Vmount was worth the extra money.

Just a little FYI, Treadstone sells an identical cooler to the ETS (3.5" X 9" X 28") for $290. I was looking at the ETS and came across the Treadstone. I ended up going a different route but just throwing that out there...

Damn, it looks exactly like mine. That's a pretty good deal as long as it's as good of quality.
