ET streets VS drag radials

which tires do you guys use for drag racing?
do you recomend the ET streets with the stock 16s? or are the drag radials better on the drive train ?
i ran a 13.2 @112 with street tirs and i want to see some 12s so what tire should i go with?
thanks

Ive used both. The ET streets have a wrinkle wall which will absorb any driveline shock your diff will take. The drag radials are nice, but you are more prone to wheel hop and if you have a stock diff, you'll destroy it.
I have the Kaaz diff and love it. It hooks up like a bat out of hell. And the nice thing is you don't need to worry if you get wheel hop because it won't hurt the Kaaz. If you don't want to pay $800 for a Kaaz I'd suggest the M2 toe links and trailing arms. They also do a good job at reducing wheel hop. They will run you about $400. Good luck.

thanks for the help guys, i think i'll go with the ET streets. i don't have enough money to fix the diff if it breaks because of wheel hop.

Cool 255x50x16 bfgoodrich drag radials

no wheel hop, but still getting a lot of wheel spin off of first. Launching at around 6200rpms, best 60' times on these tires is 1.8 and got be a 12.2 @ 112mph w/ 12.5 lbs of boost. Launching at around 6500rpms, best 60' times on M/T slicks is 1.5 and got me a best of 11.8 @ 116mph w/ 14.5lbs of boost.

Yup, my best time also was a 1.5 60ft with ET Streets.

What tire pressure are you guys running and are you running with tubes or not? I have the ET streets and am running about 17psi with tubes and at the end of the track my car is getting really loose, it almost feels like I have flat tires as I reach the 100mph mark, I end up letting of the gas a bit because I feel like I am going to loose it.
Thanks,
Cliff

I've had the M and H's. And launching around 6500 rpms. Yeilded a 1.67 60 ft. And at the top end the back end starts to sway around a little you must countersteer
lotts which slows you down.

I have the Kazz too now. Broke the rear diff. last year...it was ugly and exspensive.
But best was 12.15 @ 113 mph @ 2300 ft above sea level @ 14.5 pds of boost.
