engine/tranny removed, after a case of beer and 3 hrs
well, i blew the seals in the rear rotor. so im letting p'cola fd rebuild it, along with us doing the manual conversion. we pulled the engine/tranny last night. suprisingly easier than we expected. we got the tranny apart from the engine. now theres a big *** torque converter slowing is down. anybody got any tips on how to get the torque converter off. we see the bolts that have to be removed. they are just torque down beyond wrench removal. and theres not enough room for an impact.
if anybody knows a place for cheap rebuild kits, let me know. this will be danny's first engine. we plan to streetport it aswell. ill keep ya'll informed. im also looking for advice on the auto/manual conversion.
thanks, brad

I did an aouto to 5 speed transition and that went pretty well I am very happy with the conversion.
You gotta be very careful, it was a fun project and I think I may even do it again under better circumstances.
lemme know if u need any tips
