Question Engine Rebuild Shops

My 95 RX7 has about 55000 miles on the engine and coolent is getting in the oil somehow. it's only a matter of time before i need to get it rebuild. I need a good shop to send my engine to so i can get it rebuild. i'm asking know so i'm not rushed when the engine takes a crap. in the end, i want to run a single turbo, maybe something like a HKS SPL or KAI or 42R. I heard Pettit Racing is pretty good.

Oil in the coolant? That doesn't sound right. How are you coming to this determination?

If you found goo in the oil filler neck that is normal and typically happens as the seasons change.

If you are able of removing the engine yourself you lots of options. Same if you don't mind transporting the car.

If you are getting a little sludge build up in the overflow tank, there is no cause for alarm. It is pretty difficult for oil to get into the coolant system, there would be other indications of failure prior to this symptom.

Banzai is probably your closest reputable shop to you as I am in East TN. LIke he said, if you plan to do the pull/install yourself then you have a ton of options or else you will need to find a shop close by or considering shipping the car which can become costly.

Yes, I have found goo in the oil filler neck, also when i change my oil and when i place it into the container and settles. theres about a half quart of a milkly white mixture in the bottom of the container seperated from the oil.

I'll be pulling the engine myself and shipping off to a company

Did it look like this? If so your engine is fine. That is perfectly normal. Its just condensation mixed with oil vapours. Change your oil more often and always make sure your run your car to operating temperature before shutting it off.
