pressure washer, armorall, paint cleaner, pumice hand cleaner, and degreaser.

what precautions do you have to take when using the pressure washer? I know its not good to get water on some of the things in there. could you list all that you have to cover to ensure everything is ok?

if you don't have a pressure washer you can use a hose. I only cover the alternator with some tin foil, and remove my open k&N filters. however, if you have stock airbox or enclosed like m2, then you don;t have to worry about it. just make sure you let the car dry first before you start it.

i just take off the alternator and spray the whole engine bay with a product called S100. its a motorcycle engine cleaner, works absolutely perfectly. then hose it off using a pressure washer and it looks better than new. u might also want to spray all the rubber hoses with some armorall to keep em from drying up

Whenever I spray my engine compartment with a hose it absolutely refuses to run until it is dry. Anyones guess on what is the culprit? I am suspecting the coils. Once dry starts right up, until then it refuses to fire. Just turns over, though it never floods.
