electric exhaust cut out?

electric exhaust cut out?
im curious to see if anyone has tryed or is currently running and electric exhaust cut out on there fd.
im curious to see if there are any gains or losses?
if it is detrimental to the reliability of the engine?
i know i wold at least need a few mods to evin make this sensible such as upgraded ecu.
but lets say i want to run stock ports stock twins with intake down pipe FMIC and apexi ecu. wold this work with a cut out?

Cut outs are pretty dumb, leave them to the muscle car crowd.
Also, rotaries are INSANELY loud, you don't need anything to make them louder.
The electronic cutouts are also garbage, an old local shop installed a number of them, I think ALL of them failed. They're just junk.
If you want to intelligently quiet down a loud car, get an Apexi ECV, search for my thread on it.
