For $50, and the possibility of it having some effect. Seems worthwhile. Reviews are mixed, I guess it depends on what setup you have, how much you have put into your car already. I will be checking it out.

I was told some time ago that the dampers were only hard plastic bushings with no movement to them . The Garfinkle engine torque has a rubber bushing at each end of the link so the car does not vibrate and the motor has alittle movement so things will not break .

Just wanted to give an update to anybody interested. This wasn't a priority but I was mildly interested in working out the fitment issues with these items, and not only the eBay kind but also Gotham, FEED, etc... I had a unit off eBay that had to be re-drilled at bracket to slide it down (front) to clear the ABS bolts. Well, I had a buddy of mine that has a laser metal cutting shop fab me another piece, with the attachment point slightly relocated to clear the ABS unit.
I haven't mounted it yet (my UIM is off) but will do it mid-week. If you guys are interested in seeing the pics I could snap a few and get them posted.

So I decided to buy one of these since I figured I need something to do with my free time and would like to stiffen up my drivetrain a little bit.

That is the exact one I bought...
I recieved it yesterday, looked nice! I decided to mount up the plate to the body and the UIM. The shock doesn't clear the ABS unit bolt... So after messing around with it and finally figured out how to get it mounted, I had to cut the bracket that mounts to the body, move it towards the shock tower and drill a new hole. So now it is bolted to the 2 out of 3 holes, I had to remove the nut that locks down the swivel or the holes would not line up. I did attempt to test this shock in a very large clamp I have it is VERY STIFF, but it does move a little.
Test Drive... It does feel a lot better driving, 3rd gear is much easier now and I mean MUCH EASIER! Before it would feel like it would move to the right, now it's solid and easy!
I am very happy with this part even though I did have to modify it for it to work, I didn't expect much since it was a ebay item, figured I would give it a shot and I am glad I did.

When you drilled the holes, did you have to tap them too?

Sorry for the delay, I had my head up my **** and haven't visited the forum in a while.
I am able to have a shop make as many of these brackets as we want, but it has to make financial sense to them. I've relocated the dampener underneath the bracket so it looks real good. I've also coated it with rubber. Will post some pics this weekend!

i dont have those but i got a question. to prevent vibration in the car while idiling where exactly would you put the rubber bushings so you wouldnt get that vibration under idiling?

It worked great. I have a 409 whp single turbo, and it really helped to smooth out driveline harshness and vibration. See my reply to him, below, from the ************* site

Remember you get what you pay for.Feed is the way long term.It was developed for the job and is not a copy that will last a quarter of the time.Why fit cheep parts to a high performance sports car.
