In my 7 years of driving I have never gone over the speed limit once. In my 2 years of driving the FD, I have never taken it above 55, and that was on the freeway.

I think the problem is that going anything under 100 on an open highway just doesn't feel right. The car is capable of sooooo much more and it's just tooo easy to cruise at lower speeds.

If I'm WOT anywhere except an on ramp, I'm breaking the law...IF I am WOT exiting an on ramp, I'm breaking the law to the point they will take me to jail.

I'm pretty gentle about it except I do burn extra gas getting onto highways. Occasionally (not often), I'll push it up to 100-120 on an empty straight highway, but there aren't too many of them, and those are where the cops like to be too.

Get to an AutoX course or a track, and learn to corner. You'll outgrow the street speed bug real fast.

I'm thinking I should start a thread complaining about 3rd gen insurance prices, and see how many people in this thread post there too

It's true, the RX's in general make you drive them like you stole them! Hey, maybe that's why rortaries have a reputation of blowing up more than pistons, because piston engines are lame and are driven at their safe levels 99.99% of the time. I have to hit at least 100mph at WOT at least once every time I drive mine, it's just addictive, O and I need to clean out my plugs because they might foul LOL!.
