I've seen em' for lots of cars - but never for a 3rd gen.

I think the idea is you can drive when it's raining and still have the window cracked for ventilation without getting wet, they may also help to reduce buffeting inside when the windows are down. They are usually made from a smoked plastic.

RonKMiller is right. They are WIDELY available. Check your local Pep Boys, Autozone, 4 Wheel Parts, etc. For the most part, I usually see them on large vehicles like vans and trucks.

I have never seen them for the FD. What car are you trying to get these wind deflectors for?

I am in Japan... no pep boys here and noone has them avail here.

I live on an island and durring rainy season without aircondtioning you can even drive you car without the window being all the way down or your windshield fog to the point you cant even see light anymore. When it is pouring it will fill you floorboard quick.

IT IS A NEED... not a for looks or so I dont get little sprinkles of water on me.

Yes. For the 3rd gen RX-7 FD3S.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've seen them posted for the FC on the other Forum. Some girl bought it for her b/f when she was in Japan.

Thanks.

I've searched the forums and alot of the online "gold rim dealers" and came up with nothing.

With all the people that have taken thier AC out (Wheather volentarily or not) I cant believe that the demand president hasnt been set yet.

To anyone that has the capability of making something like this professionally: I know at least 30 people on my small island that would be bagging down your door. Smokers seem to be dwindling in numbers but I'm sure they would love it too...

(note: on my previous post I made about 10 typos and for some reason I can no longer edit my posts even within 10 seconds of posting it. Anyone else have this problem?)

Heres how it should have read:

ACTUALLY,....you can't have wind deflectors near your windows. Reason being is there is no door frame near the windows. (I don't know which this didn't occur to me sooner...hahha)

Does your FD have a sunroof/moonroof? If so, you can get a wind deflector for the sunroof/moonroof instead. Something like this...

That's kinda funny.. Someone in Japan importing American accessories for a Japanese car

I think on the editing thing, Jason disabled that privelage and PM for vendors on the forum...

This is actually quite common. A LOT of stuff gets imported to Japan.
