Do OEM windsheilds come with mirror attachment?

Do OEM windsheilds come with mirror attachment?
I'm getting a new windshield and I want my rearview mirror moved higher if possible. My installer will not move it if the attachment is already glued on. Will the mirror base already be on the glass?

I had a glass shop check for me & thay said that they could order a windshield without the rearview mounting point. Call around!

The one I got recently had the mount, well, mounted.
Also, don't forget the black kryptonite square the mount attaches too, I've heard that it is very difficult to remove, so it may be in your line of sight as well.
