Yes Definately. Your taking a great risk even if you limit your boost...remember anything over 10psi on the stock ecu is bad. I hit 11+ with just a downpipe

I take it that you have an aftermarket system. Do you have a new ecu or piggyback. If so what brand did you buy. or what options should I consider when dealing with this.

also I currently have intake on for now , but i plan on buying and having the rest by around the end of summer. is there any order You would recommend on purchasing which items first?

You might want to think about using a wideband to check your afr after you do the mods. You might be running lean and ping the motor. I usually tell everyone to collect the parts you want and do the install all at once. Nothing like dumping $1000 in parts just to have to spend another $2000 for a new motor installed. You just have to use your own judgment.
Also, just to clear this up,
CPU is what controlls functions such as lights, alarm, and locks..........
ECU is the engine /fuel managment system of the car.
