Do FDs fit tall people?

I'm 6'5", do you think I would be able to fit in an FD with stock seats?

Also, Hello Rx-7 Boards :]

go find one for sale and sit in it to find out

A few tips. 1: models with sunroofs have about an inch less headroom. try to find one with a solid top.
2: I know you asked about stock seats, but obviously racing seats will lower your *** and thus give you more headroom.
3: For legroom, you'll probably need to get a smaller steering wheel and/or a spacer.

I plan on it. I'm just bored at work and anxious to see if I will actually fit in my dream car ;p

What do you mean by a spacer?

Thanks for the tips.

6'3" 210lbs. I fit quite nicely in my USDM, but I can't fit in a JDM.

I don't know how you all fit in the FD at those measurements. I'm 5'6" and after long drives, even I felt cramped.

Maybe you're just claustrophobic or something. I feel very comfortable, even when I went on a 13 hour road trip. I don't even have the seat all the way back, nor is it reclined much.

I'm 5' 10" and felt more than comfortable even with a helmet. Just tilted the seat back a little for more clearance.

You can buy spacers to force the steering wheel a little closer to your chest and away from your knees.

Mahjik has a lot of info about these if you search his username. I think he's using a quick release system to double as a spacer as well as making it easier to get in and out of the car(it's nice and easy to climb in when there's no wheel to contourt around.

I have no hands on knowledge of this stuff, I'm pretty average in height(5'10ish), but from reading what everyone else has said this is what I've walked away with.

FWIW, even at 5'10, my head hit the headliner in a touring model(sunroof) and my friends PEP(also sunroof), but I have plenty of clearance in my base(solid top), but I also have a racing seat, so that helps..

6'2'' stock seats and wheel with a sunroof. Tilt the seat back slightly, good to go. Knees hit the wheel a little, smaller wheel or spacer and I'm golden. I'm going to have them shave a little foam off the bottom of the seats when my seats get their new skins, I should be able to bang a fat chick without hitting my head on the roof after that.

He must not have all his extra weight evenly distributed, because when I first got my car a year ago, I was at 300lbs and still could get in and enjoy the ride.

I fit much better now though after losing 1/4 of all that weight.
