I'm kinda glad you aren't the same guy. It makes me feel better that the same jokester no longer owns it.
LOL...it's cool. His name was Josh. I've had the car since 8/1/02. Replaced the leaky turbos, drove it for a few weeks, failed emissions miserably, and now the car is wrecked. Oh, and I also noticed that the clutch is slipping and I have an oil leak somewhere. Thus far, FD ownership has not been kind to me. I am quite frustrated with it. However, once I get it back from the body shop I am going to pull the motor and tranny, fix all leaks, replace the clutch, go non-sequential, ditch all superfluous vacuum lines. All that and I'll still have hardly ever driven the car..... Or I could just sell it and mod the cobra further for OT.

Statisticly a young male driver is more likely to have an accident. The insurance rates aren't what they are for no reason. That doesn't mean a young driver can't be resposible with it.

In high school I had a 68 Camaro. In colege I had a 91 Z28 Camaro untill I was 25. Had about a 4 year break with only a medium performance car and then got the RX-7 and now I have a WRX too. Never any accidents or tickets so far.

It can be done but you have to have restraint and maturity. It burns me up when I see that State Farm commercial I think it is where they guy implies he would not insure a kid in a high performace car. They showed a Camaro as I recall.

Just use you brains out there and don't let ego sucker you into doing something stupid.
